High School Friends Get Baptized

What a cool day it was to see these three highs school friends get baptized a few weeks ago! Nicole, Gabby, and Claytie have all been a big part of Eagle Valley Young Life and have been attending church with us at Eagle Bible Church. When this spring's baptism day rolled around, all felt the need to publicly affirm their faith in Jesus Christ. What a joy it has been for us as YL leaders (Kelli, myself, and Sarah pictured above) to walk alongside them in their journey with Jesus. And this is just the beginning.

Young Life Update & Baptism

Kylee was baptized in from of her friends and family as she professed her faith in Jesus earlier this fall. It was an awesome moment for a special young lady.

Our Young Life clubs have been full and exciting this fall. What a blessing it is to have doubled our amount of leaders and that kids are trusting us by letting us into their lives.

Justin's Baptism

Justin finally decided to get baptized! After 15 years of following Jesus, he decided it was time! He joined the Eagle Bible Church's annual summer baptism group at Sylvan Lake and was baptized by Pastor Judd. It was awesome to have some of his favorite high school friends come out and witness the event as well as our close church family. I love my husband's faith and this was a great moment to publicly declare it.

Amberly's Baptism

What a blessing it was to be a part of Amberly's baptism this week. Amberly and I met while she was teaching at EVHS. Now we are mommy friends together. She has had a sweet heart, searching after truth and what the Lord would have for her life. She has made the commitment to follow Jesus and desired to be baptized this summer! I am so pumped about her faith and the pursuit of her family!

Baptism Weekend

We had two sweet people in our lives get baptized in the same weekend, at the same place!

Baptism #1 - Addie
She is a sweet high school friend that attends Campaigners. I am hoping to get a breakfast book study (my girls from last year have graduated) going with these girls this fall (and one girl that couldn't make it is in the crew too). They are all seniors and have been walking with Jesus for a while now. We need to get them growing in their faith and reaching others! Congrats to Addie for professing her faith and taking the plunge!

Baptism #2 - Daniel
Man, was this an emotional one or what??? Daniel has been a part of our home for the past 15 months and it has been a huge blessing. We have gotten to walk with him through some tough stuff in his life. Jesus took all that he had and tossed it right out the window. He lost his life that he thought was perfect and now, through Jesus, Daniel has an new abundant life. When Justin was talking about Daniel in the water here, he mentioned that he had been praying for Daniel since they met on our first day at EVHS. Who would have thought those prayers would have landed them here? God is so good and has plans so much greater than ours. Out of the pain in his life came a relationship with the God of the universe....wow! Thank you Jesus for your redemption. We are blessed to call Daniel a friend. Thanks for taking a step out and proclaiming your faith buddy! It was an honor to be a part of.

Not a bad spot to be baptized (Sylvan Lake State Park).

Daniel's Best Buddies

I love this picture of my friend Abbie. She is goregous!

Mack and "Uncle" Daniel

Daniel's whole church body that came to support him and three others that got baptized that day.

The men of Eagle Bible that loved Daniel so well this year.
This was at a "We are thankful for Daniel" Thanksgiving dinner party last week. There is just something so incredible about hanging out with a bunch of people that love Jesus and have a heart to love each other. This is one good group of people.
