What a great visit we had with Grandma throughout the stay in St. Louis! From the first night of cookie decorating though the gifts and special outings together, she sure does know how to spoil our family!

We are loving our new hats from the wonderful Hailee! She did such a great job on them!!!

Friends in StL

During our trip home, we were so grateful to see two amazing families. Our old Colorado buddies, the Brummers, came by for a little morning playdate. Other than Macklin taking out Cayle on their bikes, it was such a fun morning. The kids play together so well and it seems like they were never apart. More FaceTime convos to come with these cuties. 

Even after canceling our big day with the Olivastros because of Macy's sickness, we were able to connect with them during our second week. Can't wait for another summer trip with these cuties! 

With all the time we were gone, it is hard to believe that we didn't get to spend time with more friends. It was a nice family trip this year and we will filed up! 

Team Dinner

Right before winter break, we were able to host Justin's basketball team for dinner. You have to make a ton of spaghetti to feed 12 high school boys :)

Sick Macy and Christmas Cards

Macy wins the prize for our first sick kid visit in four years. She caught the bronchitis bug that her daddy has been struggling with and we had to go start fighting it. I asked her to make a sad face to show she was sick :)

MOPS & YL Christmas Parties

We had a great Young Life Christmas party on Saturday night. On the right is of all of our EVHS YL leaders. This picture may not seem significant, but it is huge! We prayed for more leaders for EVHS students and the Lord blessed us! We have never had more than six prior to this year. So grateful! 

Sunday night we got to enjoy a dinner with the MOPS leadership ladies and their husbands. I love this group of women as many are my dear friends. Being a mommy requires the fellowship of other good mommies....MOPS is where I have found those friends! Grateful for this group of friends as well.
