Sleepover!!!

One of the nights at my parents house, I invited my two nieces over for a sleepover! We were grateful for another chance for our kids to hang out with their only first cousins! We played basketball, fooseball, had Nerf gun fights, wrestled, played games, did crafts, built with Legos, and finally watched a movie and went to bed. What a fun night with two beautiful little girls! FYI - Ally and Liv got ahold of the camera, so I wanted to show off their good work taking pictures.

Wrestle poses before going into battle.

I promise I went easy on her.

Piggybacks from Justin is always a fun treat, especially with three on your back!

Oh the side pony tails....what a fun night with these sweeties!

Please notice that Mack is kicking out his right leg in this picture!

Christmas with the Schlottachs

Our final Christmas celebration was with the Schlottach family! It was a great day where Macklin got to play with his cousins and enjoy some yummy food. Gus and Woody handed out the gifts with their Santa hats on. Grace was there for moral support. :)

Lisa got the traditional bottle (but really it is like tons of different drinks mixed together and stored in this infamous bottle for a year before everyone is forced to take a drink again :) It is a lot of fun and gets passed between all of the family members. You think you have gotten this bottle of champaign, but its the bottle! I am not sure who started it but it sure is fun each Christmas! Thanks for hosting a great gathering, Roger and Edna! We are blessed to be a part of this family.

Visiting with the Peaks and Rulos

What a great visit we had with the Peak and Rulo families last week. Justin had a great opportunity to lead Young Life with many of these incredible people and now we all have kids. Most things that Justin does in ministry are compared to the life changing experience that he had working with Jeff, Tim, and Ann in college with Mid-Mo Young Life. What a great picture of the body of Christ working together to love high school friends well, and love on each other-genunine accountability and friendship through service to Jesus. I pray that Justin will have that kind of fellowship here someday.

Here are a few pics of our day together. What a great group of kiddos! I so wish this play group could take place every week!
