Our church is having a children's nativity play in a couple of weeks. The director notified me today that Macklin would be an angel in the play, but that he wasn't that excited about it. Here is our conversation in the car
Mommy: "Ms. Cathy told me that you are going to be an angel in the church play. Are you excited to be an angel?"
Mack: "No, I don't want to be an angel."
Mommy: "Why not Mack? Angels are cool. They get to see Jesus and tell people things before they happen."
Mack: "No, Mommy."
Mommy: "What would you rather be instead then?"
Mack: "I want to be a ninja instead."
Oh really. We will have to sort through our Little People nativity scene and find the ninja that stays next to Jesus in the stable. Funny kid he is alright.
