4th of July

Our celebration of the Fourth of July was one of the best ones that I can remember! We headed to the Vail Parade because our Vail Valley Young Life group had a little float in it that Justin would be walking with. We sported our best red, white and blue and set out for a fun morning. Then we headed back to the Baker's home for naps and rest before grilling out for dinner together. What a great day!

A new favorite family photo!

Melissa and Kari get to spend time with Macy and Macklin!

The Young Life "float" in the parade. They handed out glow sticks for the Vail Valley Young Life Light Up the Night event in August. Click here to learn more.

Macklin loved the parade! I think we will for sure have to go back every year now! It was quite the event for our little town.

Two of the most memorable "floats" were the drumline and the Girl Scouts. The drumline featured some of our own Campaigner kids and were the most entertaining by far! The Girl Scouts were a hit because they were tossing out full boxes of Girl Scout cookies!

My little firecrackers!

Yummy cookie ice cream sandwich pops with red, white, and blue sprinkles!
Kari is rocking her gluten free ice cream bar.

Happy 4th to Macklin - he got a baby CamelBak for the upcoming trip!
