Feeling Like Summer

This week, finally, felt like summer! Justin was no longer teaching summer school. We were both home during the day. And, we had no agenda! I made the kids some chalk paint (2:1 ratio of water to baking soda, then add food coloring) and the kids loved it.

After a relaxing morning at home, we headed to the Gypsum Creek Pool this afternoon. This pool was awesome as it has a tiny kiddie pool and a traditional larger pool. Nothing fancy about it. Just pure, uncrowded, water fun just 1.8 miles from our house. Not sure that I am anxious to fight the craziness in Eagle the rest of the summer after our delightful day today. Only drawback was the $19 it cost to get our family in (darn Macklin turning 3...now we have to pay for him ;). Clearly we don't go enough for a membership, but we might have to think about a punch pass. Either way, it was worth it!

 Funny Picture of the Day
Macy decides to strip her diaper (which is why she always has some kind of clothing item on as this happens pretty quickly after she realizes nothing is securing it on). Macklin decides to follow her with his paint brush. Older brother is enjoying this canvas very much. Macy is wondering what is tickling her back!
