Angels came to our house last week in the form of Mimi and Papa. They came to spend the week with our sweet babies so that we could go to Young Life camp at Castaway Club in Minnesota with our high school friends. We cannot begin to express our gratitude for my parents serving our ministry in this way. Without the ability to be carefree about our kids last week, we would not have been able to be 100% present with our high school friends as they encountered and began relationships Jesus. It was an incredible week at Castaway for us and we know it was made possible by Mimi and Papa. So THANK YOU!
While we had a great week, I think Macklin and Macy had a darn good week themselves! Macklin is talking about all of the fun things they were able to do together - everything from the pool to the library to the concert to just playing in the sandbox. I know my parents were wore out yesterday, so I know they played hard! Here are a few of the pictures that I snapped on our only real day together with them yesterday before they took off early this morning. They are troopers and will for sure need a rest after their "vacation" with our kids.
