Easter Fun (pre-Macy)

We did a lot of Easter celebrating prior to Macy's arrival and I am glad that we did! We headed over to the Brummers for an little Easter fiesta complete with egg dying and an Easter egg hunt. Saturday morning Justin and Daniel took Macklin over to the town for the Town of Gypsum's Easter Egg-travaganza. Finally, while we were having baby Macy, Daniel was getting Mack all ready for Easter church service. Check out the footage!

Easter Party
Macklin liked the egg dying - well, really he liked to drop the eggs into the colors and then just leave them. No lasting marks on their carpet = success!

Egg Hunt Progression....
7:18pm - start Easter egg hunt
7:19pm - put eggs into basket
7:20pm - found shovel from the sand box
7:21pm - digging in the multch, no longer interested in eggs

Macklin is so funny! He loves his sandbox and diggers and such that everything else is second rate these days...including holidays and candy...crazy boy!

Cayle and Carter had a good time though. I learned a good lesson though - you don't need to fill 36 eggs for 3 boys that are under the age of two :) I think the adults had to grab the majority of them, but at least there were some Twix to eat!

Town of Gypsum Egg-travaganza
This looked crazy. Justin said he was shocked by how many people were around. They also did a water egg dive, but the boys opted out of that one to come to the track meet instead.

Easter Attire
I told Daniel that if he was hanging with Mack for Easter that I got him a sweet little oxford shirt and a bow tie to wear! He was sweet enough to dress for the occasion and he looked as cute as ever. It was not exactly the way I was picturing him (Daniel clearly forgot the hair gel and found the sport coat ;) but you can't help but smile when you see these pictures. Thank you Daniel for keeping our boy looking good even when we were away!
