Macklin has been off and on with his strider bike to say the least. He will kinda like it some days and then want nothing to do with it on other days. We found out the key to the bike after Cara's party a few weeks ago....a helmet!!! Our yard is just dirt so we hadn't busted out the helmet or wanted to take him to the street yet. But after tons of kids were rolling around with helmets on at Cara's party, Macklin totally wanted to have one. We had had one in the shed the whole time.
Now, with the helmet, he was ready! And then we took him to ride with his buddy Cayle after this session in the yard, and now he is getting better way quicker! Cayle is a rock star (don't get me wrong, his dad is a biker so what would you expect), but Mack liked to watch him and try it more and more. This day on the bike was a BIG day for him - I would say his first real day of riding. And he looks like a cutie too!
Mack told Justin to put on his helmet and get on his bike!
